"Show the Spelling Code!"

Phonemies help children see, hear, and articulate phonemes, which makes the speech to print relationship clearer and word mapping more accessible. This visual and linguistic support is particularly helpful for neurodivergent learners who benefit from explicit cues when developing early reading and spelling skills.
Phonemies®, pronounced /f əʊ n iː m i: z/, are IPA aligned Speech Sound Monsters® that show the code: Parent and Tutor Course Speedie Word Mapping from Birth

The Speech Sound Monsters are alternatives to phonetic symbols and are used to develop phonemic awareness without graphemes in week 1 (Phase 2) and embedded into Code Mapped words to show children the sound value for each grapheme (as they would be able to do if they used the IPA) 

You can order Packs of Small Monster Cards, or order as A6 or A5. 

A6 is twice the size of small but smaller than A5. Ideal for small group and whole class carpet sessions.
